KTM’S JOHNNY GIRROIR TAKES GEORGIA US SPRINT ENDURO

Johnny Girroir of FMF/KTM won the 2023 US Sprint Enduro Series round two in Hephzibah, Georgia, beating Thad DuVall of Coastal Racing GasGas by 49.5 seconds..

Contrasting events on Saturday and Sunday, as rain soaked into the soil on Saturday, making perfect dirt for racing. However, Sunday's rainfall made it slippery.

Girroir won Saturday's race with DuVall finishing close behind in several tests. Cody Barnes took third, trailing 33.6 seconds behind.

Girroir was the top performer on Sunday, beating DuVall by 30 seconds. Toth won an Enduro test, Barnes finished third, and Barbosa and Toth took fourth and fifth.

Girroir won overall by 49.4 seconds, with Barnes placing third and winning the Pro 2 division. Zach Osborne missed the event due to a broken elbow.

Precision Offroad Racing's Dominik Morse claimed victory in the stacked Pro-Am division, leading in the first four tests of Day Two and finishing sixth overall.

Rachel Archer of AmPro Yamaha won the Women's Pro class with a 2-1 performance. Mackenzie Tricker of Enduro Engineering GasGas narrowly beat Archer on Saturday but withdrew due to injury on Sunday, allowing Archer to secure overall victory.
