The 2023 Monster Energy Supercross tour made a road-burning trip all the way across the United States for the rescheduled Oakland Supercross this weekend.
The 450 class didn’t disappoint with Eli Tomac taking the win over a hard-charging Cooper Webb and a blazingly fast–but mistake prone–Chase Sexton.
In the 250 class, the result was more predictable with Jett Lawrence taking a routine win over RJ Hampshire and Cameron McAdoo.
RJ Hampshire got out front early, but he had two of the fastest riders right behind him. Cameron McAdoo was second right ahead of Jett Lawrence.
Cameron McAdoo led for over half of the second heat, surviving intense pressure from Jett Lawrence. On the fifth lap, Jett took over and quickly pulled out a couple of seconds.
The first 450 heat turned out to be a parade with Ken Roczen pulling the holeshot, but unable to pull away from Jason Anderson and Justin Barcia.
Cooper Webb made up amazing ground in the final laps of 2023 OAKLAND supercross in 450 main event
